I always wanted to be radio announcer for as long as I can remember.  It first stated when I heard an air-check tape (reel to reel) of my father working for a small AM station in Western Pennsylvania, once I heard that I was hooked. After graduation from Mars Area High School in Mars PA (45 miles east of New Castle) I attended California University of PA ( I choose Cal because I could get on the radio immediately).

 

After graduation I worked for WLSW FM - Scottdale/ Pittsburgh, Then over 20+ years I work at  WMBS AM Uniontown, WASP AM/FM Brownsville, PA and The New Sound of Oldies - WJPA FM Washington, PA.

 

I fell in love with talk radio at WMBS in the late 1990s.  In 2006 I stated the online talkshow, OnLine with Bill Alexander was on until 2012.  In 2018, I brought back OnLine with Bill Alexander (iTALKNET.com) which now airs on WLDJ - 107.5 FM every Sunday Morning at 7AM.

 

Did I mention I love the classic hits from the 60s. 70s and 80s.  I host 2 music shows on WLDJ - 107.5 FM. Lunch with Bill - Saturday’s from Noon until 2 and A Million Dollar Sunday from 2 until 4 every Sunday Afternoon.
